We employ video cameras, bio-security, and an automatic content monitor on all our equipment and internet access. In the event our content monitor alerts us to inappropriate use of our internet access and/or equipment, we will review the logs and video to determine if the alert is valid and determine appropriate action. NOTE: We do not search your personal computer or devices.
How it protects you:
The cameras are in place to record any incidents that require visual review. This will discourage predatory behavior toward our members.
The bio security ensures that no one can access your account or login with your credentials except you.
The automatic content monitors allow members to use our equipment and access the internet for personal use (bank accounts, shopping, etc.) without anyone seeing their private information while allowing us to identify and address access of inappropriate use/content.
How it protects the center:
The security is in place to discourage inappropriate use of our equipment and internet as well as predatory behavior.
The records we keep on equipment and internet use will only be shared with law enforcement if we have reason to believe a crime has been committed or if a warrant is issued to do so.
